Background

We have recently experienced an historic and profound moment in British politics: for the first time in over half a century two political parties have agreed to come together to form a coalition in government. As the  parties coalition seek to work together it has become increasingly clear to the British electorate that, there are many, many differences however, there is also a wide range common ground.

The coalition partners believe that they can deliver radical, reforming government, a stronger society, a smaller more effective state, and a return of power and responsibility back to the hands of each and every citizen.

The stated desire is strong government, steered by progressive policies inspired by the values of freedom, fairness and responsibility.

So without doubt great changes and real issues lie ahead
